設計構想源自於:戰車把手或船艦欄杆需用金屬棒替換時，運用此治具能有效率折出量多且準確的金屬件。
參考一下國外的類似工具MISSION MODELS GRAB HANDLER
The Grab Handler is an all steel CNC produced CAD designed tool which allows modelers to create accurate and consistantly sized grab handles for military models, railroad models, ship railings, aircraft details, automotive models, and much more. Create duplicate Z bends that are exactly the same every time. The Grab Handler will produce grab handles from 1/16 to 1 1/2 inches. Due to the steel construction the Grab Handler is able to bend hard metals such as brass and tool steel without damaging the tool.

治具主體全貌
利用旋鈕將治具拆卸
階梯代表不同刻度，範圍是1mm~16mm，每1mm一個間距。
兩片基座利用彈簧及磁鐵定位，密合度準確。
每個刻度都刻有凹槽，金屬棒置入後將旋鈕夾緊，不用擔心會滑掉。
基座上刻有刻度，省去找尺量的麻煩。
操作範例:
1.以0.5mm銅條為例，鬆開旋鈕將銅條插入5mm槽內。
2.利用鐵尺沿基座面下折。
3.接著對另一邊施工，方法同上。
4.檢視折出的角度，非常漂亮的直角。
5.比較不同尺寸金屬折出來的情形:由左至右依序是訂書針、0.32mm及0.45mm銅線，其內距均為5mm。
其他功用:
若要折出內距超過16mm的把手，則需利用附加的金屬桿及金屬塊。
1.將金屬桿旋入孔座。
2.穿上金屬塊。
3.金屬塊可在桿上滑動。
4.最大內距可施工至160mm。
5.操作方法為:先將一端折好，利用滑塊搭配鐵尺算好所需距離，將另一頭置入基座中夾緊。
6.這一端最好多留一些，超出的部分等折好後再剪斷。
7.附加金屬桿的其他功用:可將金屬片桿出弧度。
